Why the Clinic Is Called Cellon

Cellon Dermatology Clinic, Cheongdam, Seoul — The clinic practised for fifteen years under a different name before being renamed Cellon, in order to concentrate on stem cell treatment and regenerative medicine. Cell On means switching the cell back on: working at the level of the cell rather than only at the level of appearance.

We ask why before we ask how

Aesthetic medicine sits between medicine and aesthetics. In consultation Dr. Kang does not begin with "which procedure would you like?" but with "why do you want this to change?"

The purpose is to understand the patient's taste and values, and to arrive at a shared aesthetic understanding before treatment begins. A procedure carried out without that shared understanding does not lead to satisfaction, however well it is executed. That is a conclusion drawn from experience rather than a slogan.

We do not promise a one-visit result

Skin is the product of continued care and accurate diagnosis. Cellon sets out a realistic roadmap from the first consultation rather than promising that a single visit will settle everything. Patients who want to hear that promise will hear it elsewhere; they will not hear it here.

Why did the clinic change its name?

To reflect a change in focus. After fifteen years of general dermatology practice, the clinic concentrated on stem cell treatment and regenerative medicine, and took a name that says so.

What does "Cell On" mean?
